My clients are asking lots of questions about hair straightening and which is the best product to go for. The Japanese YUKO hair straightening has had a lot of press and I've been speaking to people who have experienced this treatment and paid up to £600.
One of my clients had the YUKO Japanese treatment a few years ago and said she preferes the permanent straghtening system I use 'MATRIX OPTISMOOTH', as well as being less expensive she feels the condition and quality of the result was better for her strong, long, thick hair. The Optismooth takes around 4 hours to complete and costs between £199 and £299, this includes the cutting and drying and also a recommended sleek look shampoo & conditioner. YUKO hair straightening is now costing the client between £270 and £470, so this price has come down. However I always say, the product is sure to be fabulous as it wouldn't be on the market BUT the skill, experience and patience of the stylist is what makes a good hair straightening treatment that'll last and shine for it's duration. Always have a sample strand test performed and meet and discuss your expectations with the stylist who will actually be the one working on your hair.
